Not sure where to start from. Let's talk about positives : Less expensive, bigger portions, quick preparation. This is the first time I've ordered from Passage To India and I'm totally disappointed. Visually I was unable to differentiate between Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Biryani (except Biryani was yellowish). Fried Rice was bland, felt like prepared in hurry, chicken pieces tasted stale (I did order the fried rice as mild - but mild doesn't mean bland, mild doesn't mean chicken pieces will taste stale). Biryani was no better either, tasted like rice was mixed with some raw spices and boiled together. Now to the Malabar Curry - this is the worst of the lot. Greasy, cooked in hurry and looked like chicken pieces were an afterthought for it. Bottom Line : I won't waste my money there again.

This place has nice Indian food for the university area. They seem to never make it as spicy as I know they can, when I ask for a ten it’s usually mild for me even though I’ve experienced before how spicy they can make it. I’m unsure if the buffet is still closed, but it was the best part about this place.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and enjoyed their food, however, since this pandemic started and they are take out only their food has been on a downward spiral. My last order was worst than bad. Nothing in the order was right. The Samosa was burned, the Palak Paneer was not fresh with hard cubes of cheese, the Sheekh Kebab seemed like it had been sitting under a light for hours and was dried out, and I paid for two orders of Papadum but only received one. Done with ya'll.

11/27/21 So, I never had Indian food until now. I tried my sister's leftovers (chicken korma), and I said this is what I'm eating tomorrow! I ordered the chicken korma - medium spicy, ras malai (cheese dumpling with milk), and a mango lassi). If you ever had Mexican mole, chicken korma resembles it a little bit. It's the sauce! So delicious. The cheese dumpling was super interesting. Sweet but the texture felt weird lol. The mango lassi was really good. It soothes your tongue so it goes great with what I had. Definitely recommend ordering food. I understand they're going through a renovation so I'm excited to eat in when I'm back in the area :D

8.99 on weekday and 11.99 on weekends I think. They offer 5.99-6.99 lunch boxes too
Sadly only for lunch but it is a very tasty one and worth taking advantage of
