Wow. Read the reviews. Not my experience. Went to this church multiple times. Joined the Bible Study and was even baptized there. We were alone when we joined hoping to belong to a Christian church family. If you want to feel part of a Christian Family through faith, avoid Renovation. Normally, after service, the Pastor is there to greet you, thank you for coming and wish you a good week. Not at Renovation. I was told Pastor Jeremy does not have time to say anything to anyone. He leaves promptly after his sermon. Also, a good indication of a Christian is how they treat people outside of the church, which is what I experienced when ran into Pastor Jeremy in front of Publix with my hands full of empty cardboard coffee cups I was throwing away. I accidentally dropped them and looked up and saw Pastor Jeremy walking toward me to go into the store. I thought he would stop to help me, but instead, he stepped over me and walked into the store without saying a word. When I saw him at church, never once did he say hello-not even when we saw him right after we were baptized. Not a word. He is the leader of Renovation. In my opinion, the leader of a church leads by example. He has compassion, lends a hand when someone drops something, is welcoming and leads with love as Jesus did. It is his job to welcome, to make people feel they belong to a community, a family. I asked a church elder about this and was told Pastor Jeremy does not have time to do any of that. Really? Isn’t that his job?! As for the Bible Study, it was once per week and it would last late into the night, many times because the discussion revolved around off topics. During an especially devastating loss, I reached out to our Bible Study Leaders hoping for support, prayer and comfort, but nobody bothered to respond to me. Nobody cared. I have spoken to many people who also left the church and that sums up Renovation: Nobody cares. However, they do care about your donations and I have been told, if you miss, you can expect a “caring” phone call to find out where it is.

We have a summer camp named "R-Camp". You can find more info about the camp on the R-Camp website www.rcamp.info We also have a preschool that is run by Renovation Church but located at Bethlehem Baptist Church. We do not have a food bank on site. We partner with other local ministries in our area that are already doing that successfully. We try to help those ministries with resources and volunteers as they need to help meet the needs of our community.
Yes I believe so
