I was incredibly disappointed in my stay at this Residence Inn. My boyfriend, two dogs and myself checked in to the hotel. Things seemed fine but only went downhill from there. On our way up to our room, we saw small lizards running around the hallways. Thankfully we did not see any in our room or on the third floor. Within an hour of arriving, one of our dogs found a pill that was left by the previous guests. This sent us to the pet ER. Thankfully he was okay after being checked out. We returned to the hotel and wanted the floors cleaned again to ensure there was nothing else on the floor. Although we saw several individuals who worked in housekeeping, none were able to help us. My boyfriend ended up cleaning our room when he was given a vacuum. He found candy, rocks and a lot of dirt in the room (see photo- this was empty when he got the vacuum). Soon after seeing the condition of the room, we decided to leave and find another hotel to ensure our dogs were safe. We are incredibly disappointed in the service we received. Now, almost a month later, we still have not gotten answers from the hotel and Marriott regarding our refunds. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you have your pet with you.

Positive: We stayed Saturday 9/2/22 and were very impressed with the room, cleanliness of room and hotel. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed breakfast that was included in price however the staff couldn¿t keep up with demand and no food

Residence Inn by Marriott in Mt Pleasant was an excellent choice. A short drive to Isle of Palms beach and a great location for food and shopping. The staff was kind and very helpful from those who ran the breakfast bar, to front desk, and cleaning staff. I really appreciate service with a smile and this team delivered. Thank you for a great stay at your hotel!!
