Not the scary dive bar where the music stops when you walk in after you run out of gas on the dirt road near the old cemetery... Great locals keep the bar running, the BarBacks are gracious and will always remember your name if they like you ..... 4 Pool tables are a step above coin tables less than 5 feet apart but the low priced drinks will have you forget about that (make sure you eat on a high table by the bar...... They have a stage up front so the weekend must have music..... Apple Approved Dive (a few locals will get this joke)

I visited on a busy Saturday night - the place was shoulder to shoulder and a band had set up but hadn't started yet. Looked like a good place. I worked my way to the bar to get a drink and waited patiently to be served. After about 15 minutes with no staff even looking at me I noticed that people were getting drinks at the other end of the bar. So I moved there and waited behind a couple of others. After a few minutes the ones in front of me were served and I was next in line. A few minutes later there were people waiting behind me, and one by one the bartender served each of them and completely ignored me. This went on at least 4 times - twice the customer apologized to me saying, "Sorry for jumping the line, but the bartender knows me." I'm not naïve, and I know that one of the perks of being a regular customer is getting preferential service. But this was ridiculous - after the fourth or fifth time I left in frustration, having never gotten a drink, or even making eye contact with a staff member. One star for this terrible service, but I'll give it a second star for the potential that I saw in the place.
