Horrible experience! Reserved a truck to use for 6-7 hours. Upon first inspection, before driving off, we found trash still in the front, ripped seats, spill marks, and looked in the back and found roaches crawling. Told the man about it, he got an attitude, took the key and "cleaned" the back. Being on a time limit, we trusted he took care of it. Got to our location, opened the back to start loading and there was many more!! Little ones and several big ones with egg sacks!! Immediately called regional office. Advised we'd be given a full refund so far only received $5 out of the amount we've paid!!! I will NEVER use U-Haul again!

I rented a trailer there for about $20 a day

U-Haul web-site and sure enough: Towing vehicle and trailer advisements If your towing vehicle is an SUV, it must be equipped with a hard top. It is ok to tow with the 'hard top' cap on though.
