Fantastic place to take kids or anyone with some physical challenges fishing. Very easy access and safe. Fishing is what fishing is everywhere, hit or miss, but at times it can be really good here. Probably not the kind of place that would be of interest to tournament pros but for kids, folks with physical limitations or casual anglers it is hard to beat. There have been some good fish caught here over the years as well so there is always a chance! The DNR does an incredible job keeping this place in shape....it really has to be seen to appreciate. If you go take note of the bathroom facilities...odds are that unless you are an excellent housekeeper they will be as clean and probably cleaner than yours are at home! The DNR should be thanked by anyone in the state who buys a fishing license for maintaining this resource like they do....it is hard to imagine it is open to the public and the fishing ain't bad.

No, if you are out of state you need a GA out of state license.
Good Morning, No but you must a license of some type. Fishing and / or hunting $15 + and DNR requires Lands Pass $30 w/o the others. Game Warden V. Baldwin
You no longer need a WMA license. You can get the fishing license online (via cell phone)
