I hear over and over again how we should support our local businesses. I decided to give it a try. Yesterday (8/23/22) I went shopping for a new washer and dryer. I went to White’s Appliances in Easley. When I arrived, there was not one other customer in the store. I walked around to see what they had and wasn’t very impressed with the selection on display but I continued browsing waiting for someone to come and help me. There was a man sitting behind a glass sliding window and another man that walked into the store from a aback room to talk to the other man. There was also another man sitting in the white’s appliance truck in front of the store having a cigarette. No one acknowledged me. Sooooo I turned around and walked out and went to Lowe’s! I did in fact purchase a washer/ dryer there and it will be delivered 8/24! I guess Business must be pretty good at White’s that they didn’t want to help a potential customer. REPLY TO YOUR RESPONSE: If you saw me in the store, the appropriate response would have been to tell me someone would be there to help me in a moment, not just ignore me! POOR Customer service!

Our 5-year old Bosch refrigerator stopped cooling, and I contacted Bosch service who put me in touch with White's Appliances in Easley, SC, about 25 miles from my house. I called White's service department on Friday, and they assigned a technician to arrive the following Monday morning. The problem turned out to be a defective damper, and a new part was immediately ordered. One week later the new damper was installed, and the refrigerator side returned to normal 37 degrees in a couple of hours. That evening we noticed a small puddle of water in the front of the refrigerator on the tile floor. In 5 years we had never seen water there. I thought it was an anomaly and let it go. One week later, the same thing happened. I called the service department at White's Appliance, and after a little discussion they agreed to return in two days and check on the problem. Mind you, this is about a 40 minute drive. They arrived right on time, diagnosed a clogged drain pipe from the freezer, and repaired on the spot. I have to say, this is excellent service. Even though the clogged drain pipe from the freezer was probably unrelated to what the tech did by replacing the damper, they still came down, fixed my problem and did not charge me a dime. What a great company and what great service.

Yes..typically if the defective part/s are available we can repair it. Please note! LG parts can sometimes be difficult to obtain even under the Sears label. Can you provide a model number.? We can check most of the components for availability.

Try White's Appliance at 2013 E Main Street. They are very helpful and honest. I believe they work on the Gibson brand.
