I brought my grand daughter Anna in for contact lense exam. The staff and doctor were great. Through out the next 20 days Anna had alot of trouble with the brand That they prescribed her so i called them back up and spoke to Allison at the tifton eye center. She went out of her way with back and forth calls to help me get Anna switched to another brand . Not one time did she ever get frazzled. Thank you Allison for your great patient care hospitallity and concern. I went back yesterday trying to get a refund for the lenses Anna could not use and Sherri waited on me and again i got great customer service from concerned caring staff. Thank you all.

Service was awful. Called to make an appointment and explained that my 6 year old was needing eye glasses. Told her the insurance he had and asked if they accepted that insurance and if it covered his exam and frames he needed. She took his insurance information, and I was told that they did accept his insurance, and she made an appointment. When we arrived at his appointment, I was given paperwork to fill out before the exam. The last page of paper work was a form saying that I understood that they accepted his insurance for the exam only, but not for his glasses. I knew that I had been told it was covered, so I called two other eye doctors in our area while sitting in the waiting room, and both told me that if that insurance covered the exam, they had to cover the frames as well, as long as it was in the same visit. Both doctors told me that they accepted his insurance, and that it would cover both his exam and his glasses. I walked back to the receptionist and told her that, and without even looking at me cut me off and said "we don't do that here, you should have asked when you made the appointment." I told her I did specifically ask, and she said "I meant it covered the exam, because that's all I do is schedule the exam." But she was the one now telling me that the frames wouldn't be covered. It was specifically stated which insurance we had and that the whole point of the exam was to obtain glasses, and she told me he would be covered. She was very rude, unprofessional, and unconcerned about her mistake. My child missed school for that appointment and didn't even get to see the doctor. I made an appointment with a more professional vision center and left. I am just glad that we found out before we used his exam benefit on them. I should have expected this from Walmart.

You should always call. I was running late and it was going to be about 20 minutes so I had to reschedule. 15 is what they give u
