I love this dog park. After testing out all dog parks in Atlanta, I would agree that this is the best in the city. However, my only complaint is the many encounters I have had here with aggressive SMALL dogs. I own a Doberman pup, and I am aware that many people are still afraid of my dog's breed. Once a small bull/pug mix bit my dog's nose. On another occasion, a smaller aggressive dog, that the owner admitted was too aggressive to stay in the small dog side, attacked my dog 3 times and when my dog defended himself, he tried to label my dog as aggressive. There were no scratches or bites. I think that people need to be more educated on dog park manners before bringing their dog to the park. It is not fair that big dog breeds are judged and attacked by owners of aggressive dogs due to their size. If you know your dog is not social or trained, no matter the size, then you shouldn't bring your dog to the park. Also, don't play with other dogs, if your dog will become territorial or jealous. Other than that, the park is beautiful and large. Maybe the city should make a separate dog park for small dogs on the other side of South Bend.

Although we've been to this park a few times before I don't know why I haven't rated it yet? This is actually a pretty nice park, although today it's nothing but a Mudslide!! The park kind of goes up and towards the back and has a lot of exposed tree roots as you enter either side of the park which can make it somewhat difficult for me to walk on especially when it's muddy! Young lady loved the park the last time we were here!! And I am sure if it wasn't raining she would love it again!! It does have some poop bags and water station and of course plenty of trees and room to run. It has a very nice parking lot and there is plenty of room if you're driving a motorhome or a truck and trailer for you to get in and out.
