I love playing here. People are usually very courteous and the courts are well maintained. There’s ample street parking. Really great park!

Great location for tennis players in the Old Fort Ward. 1 hour time limit for each court, but look out for the Pickleball folks from out of town, who like to have tournaments and go past the one hour time limit. Not cool.

Courts are in great condition. Though, be warned - no benches on the court; the waiting que for the courts is confusing, and there are no bathrooms nearby.

Nope... it's free

Is there a wall to hit against?

No - it's 4 tennis courts with floodlights for night playing. Courts can be secured on a first come first serve basis, and per the City of Atlanta guidelines, a 1 hour limit for play if someone is waiting.

How to turn on the lights? I've been going here in the last two weeks and never seen it on. Lights seem working fine in the rest of the park.

For the tennis courts? They remain lit until 11 or 11:30ish p.m. one cannot control them. The lights are on a timer.
