Not a bad Safeway. Carts are really beaten up. Often get ones that make noises or turn hats to the left or right and make it hard to push. Fairly nice staff and good fresh meat/ seafood selection. Produce is okay too plus good parking available. 👍🏼

I have been shopping at this safeway for 10+ years and encountered the worst customer service tonight. The cashier was generally rude but my issue was with the way he was haphazardly handling and throwing my fruit down the conveyor belt, some of which rolled out of the bags and he did not bother to rebag any of my items and just dismissed me. I asked him to not "throw" my fruit and he responded with "I've got to hurry"... there was one customer with a single item purchase behind me, yet he felt it necessary to scan my items in a rushed way and carelessly toss them down the conveyor belt. I'm not sure what he had to "hurry" for, perhaps a break - but that is not a valid reason to be a jerk to customers. If he didn't have time to check me out, he should have said so. The cashier name on my receipt reads "Pansy" although he was a tall Asian fellow and I'm pretty sure that's not his name. His customer service skills are garbage. I requested a manager come over and they did. They apologized on his behalf, but the cashier did not apologize and continued to be dismissive. Just within a 0.5 mile radius there are 2 other grocery store options. This kind of bad customer service will drive customers to those other stores.

The worst Safeway I've ever been to! It's huge & very clean but there's nothing in there and no one to help. I went in for less than 15 items on a delivery for someone and could not for the life of me get anyone to pick up a phone and call Someone who spoke English or worked in produce department.. For how big it was I only saw about 7 employees in the whola Mega Safeway. If you're looking for customer service good luck. I feel like getting a job there just so I can retrain the 10 people working. The lines were ridiculous and there was one cashier in the evening. Super slow and no one Knows what they're doing Or how to treat customers. I never get mad and it wasn't even my food but I literally feel like pulling my hair out for spending an hour and a 1/2 in a store for less than 15 items an item's. Corporate needs to hire people and retrain them ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous!!!

WHAT happened to the quality of the Deli. EVERYTHING looks dry out and they don't have enough workers to take care of the display case. THE people that are hired can't speak English. There was a time when I seen a woman worker blow her nose with her gloves on in front of everyone and continue to make a sandwich. I told the manager and he also couldn't speak to her in Spanish. I will no longer shop there. After being a loyal customer when it was first built.I will let others know how Safeway operation works.
