I bought a house in Johnson city and the person who lived in it before me smoked cigarettes in the house for years. It smelled so bad I couldn’t stand to be in the house. I called Servpro and they sent someone right out. Everyone was friendly and the guy who came out was Zack. Zack went above and beyond. I called for a second opinion on my crawlspace. A ServePro specialist came over (Zack) and went under my house at no cost. He told me not to worry about the amount of mold growth as it is not at an alarming rate (common in this area) as the pest control company (Barnes) said it was. We have used ServePro another time in 2016 when the city damaged the crawlspace during a water main break repair (they unnecessarily let water in and didn't cut it off at the street causing extensive water into the space.) I thought to let others know that ServePro was honest and did this evaluation (I asked about that before arrival) at no charge and agreed on my DIY cleaning using Biocide Lab mold remediation--as the agent said he would have to charge about $700 and there really was no need.
