I could not be more thrilled as a Grandma when I had the opportunity to keep my 3 year old grandson from North Carolina for 5 weeks. Right away I reached out to Primrose School at Sugarloaf to find out if they would accept him in their summer program for 5 weeks. They did! They made him feel so welcomed and part of the school. The teachers were attentive, patient and fun! They updated me, the nervous grandma, everyday with pictures and what they focused on each day in learning. As a nurse, I was very pleased with the infection control practices they implement each day as well. I am so thankful for Tanisha and her entire staff for all that they bring to families in our area. A clean, safe, fun school with innovative approaches to learning is a combination you can't find anywhere. You can at Primrose School at Sugarloaf! Thank you again!

So I usually don't do this but I kinda felt some type of way I applied for a position at Primrose I was hired my son was 3 months at the time and diagnosed with SCID he was in and out the hospital every day so when they called me it was not a good time unfortunately not because I didn't want to work but because I couldn't as a first time mom I had no clue I was going to go through this long story short I just got word by baby is a clean bill of health and he's 7 months going on 8 months so they said I can begin looking for work being that I love this school and worked at Primrose before I reapplied for the administrative position I called when I explained what I've been going through these past couple months I felt like it was dismissed as if they didn't care it hurt my feelings honestly because I could've lost my child and he fought hard and for them not to want to except me or give me a chance makes me think it was God's plan that I do not work there because as a mother if I was running that school I would definitely understand and give them a chance they were very cold very dismissive very judgmental as if they know me and what I've been through alone with a baby so it's okay I wish them the best but there very judgmental and it did hurt my feelings because I was excited when I got word I can start back mind you if anybody knows what SCID is a child with this deficiency cannot be around a childcare setting mind you I'm a single mother doing it on my own so I had no choice but to choose my health my child over a 9-5 this being a child care setting you would think thry would care and understand but this is just a job for them clearly .

My 8 month old currently goes to this location and he has been here since he was 8 weeks and we absolutely love this school. I was very nervous about leaving my child in another’s care but I have been proven to have nothing to worry about. He is in great care. My child gives his teachers a big smile whenever I drop him off which he doesn’t do often to people outside of family. This school keeps us well informed regarding their policies (as long as you actually read), general updates, and even sends us reminders regarding events they have to keep the parents and students engaged. My baby boy is hitting all his milestones at a great rate. I also use to have a hard time getting him to eat solids on my own until I got the teachers involved. Now feeding time has gotten a bit easier for us at home. I’m very glad we found this school and can’t wait to see our children grow up in their care.

Today my son started at Primrose Sugarloft and I was quite impressed with the services. Like every mom, I wanted a place I was comfortable with to care for my baby. Ms. Yang is super sweet and so great with babies. I’ve witnessed her interaction with my son prior to enrolling him at Primrose Sugarloaf and it was so comforting to watch. I also met the Assistant Director who treated us so well. Ms. Tanisha, the owner was kind and inviting. The entire staff main interest are the children. I can now work from home at ease knowing that my son is in the best hands. Thank you Primrose Sugarloaf for accepting us into your family. We look forward to many more great days ahead. Primrose Sugarloaf have my highest recommendation. ❤️
