This place wants to medicate you so they get paid. I several times stated I’d just needed to talk or have therapy. Doctors adamantly pushed for drugs and now I have tardives dyskinesia due to the old and unnecessary medications they put me on. If you have family you genuinely care about , get them better help than this facility because although the staff is generally friendly, the minute you refuse medicine they act like you’re a crazy person. The experience I had here actually was scary as hell because they wouldn’t release me- they kept saying “we have to see how you react to the meds” .. the same meds I’d declined.. and well, now look at me. My stay was in January. Please- if you or your loved one needs help WITHOUT medication DO NOT GO HERE. I’m an educated black woman who found out some very shocking information- which is why I went there. However instead of organically helping me work through the trauma they jumped STRAIGHT to meds. It was truly a traumatizing situation in itself. DO NOT go here if you are not interested in being forced on medicine. I’m sincerely trying to help, I almost didn’t leave a review but I don’t want anyone else to be like me. Be blessed guys.

I stayed here for about a week and got the help I needed. Each nurse I had was friendly, caring, and always there to listen. The doctors were nice and very helpful as well, I totally recommend anyone to send their family members (or themselves), here. You're in good hands at this place, and safe. My favorite part was how I became close with the others during groups, it felt like a lil family in there. • I also wanna add this: admitting yourself doesn't make you weak and you shouldn't feel weak. You did the right thing and you're strong for that. I'm proud of you and all you will accomplish. God bless y'all! 🙏🏻❤

Ask her closet family member she would speak to the most cause she has the code as well and can give it out. Also you can visit her in weekends without the code just call and find out the visitation hours for her
