My first experience here was very god, a little to much fat on the oxtail; but on my next visit it was corrected...Very friendly staff; and thereafter. However my last visit it was NOT what I was accustomed to getting. The Oxtail was TOO salty and the fried whiting was as well. I tried to contact owner several times to express my disappointment and to see if they'd change cooks. No answer not ever a email or call back. I was NOT looking for my money back but to see if I could understand the difference in taste. To this day no response or call back. So I guess I'll be going to Tati's Island Cuisine on Broad River Road. And I am just down the street from Scott Benny's. But for the cost of the food, it's not for me because of their lack of empathy for a dissatisfied customer. And I really liked this spot. I understand that I am just ONE customer; but still, Scott Benny have consideration.

My brother had his birthday party here. We really enjoyed ourselves. The bar was really slow. But the music was on point played from the '90s R&B to today's hip hop music. The food was really good also. It turns into a nightclub at night and they don't have security which was kind of weird.. but it really was a grown up vibe. We will be going back soon.

Visited on two separate occasions and same experience. 1. There’s one bartender or was both times I was there and the service was extremely slow. It wasn’t even busy and I was literally sitting at the bar. It took 15 minutes to even acknowledge me. 2. I should have learned from (#1) and ordered my food the same time I ordered my drink, but nope…another 15 mins till acknowledgement then I put in my food order. But get this…food took like 40 mins or more to come out. At this point I wanted to leave but I was already vested in my drink. 3. Looks are deceiving…food definitely looked good but the buck stops there. It’s just ok, like ‘I could’ve made this at home’ ok. There is one chef back there, and while she seems like a nice lady…I be hungry. 4. There’s only one bathroom, and ladies when you gotta go after drinking…yeah, need I say more? #LSS this place has potential, but for now #IssaNo…the one good thing is it’s located in blythewood, and there’s not much out there. Maybe competition might do them some good…???
