Over charge and give false information do not recommend

0 stars and I will never use PepBoys again because of this experience. The customer service and communication was terrible. I came in with a failed emissions test and specific codes that needed fixed. I was given a sheet of repairs and after spending over $1000, it failed and didn’t fix any of them. They blamed it on a loose hose and said to drive the car for 50 miles. We did that and it failed an emissions again with the same codes. They refused to do anything about it and said the original work had nothing to do with the emissions and then diagnosed and quoted us for the “actual” issues. No accountability was taken. I was passed around to 3 different “managers” who just said to look at the paperwork and there was nothing they could do. This went on for almost 3 weeks.

I needed help with a screw in my tire, so I showed up at 7am to get it fixed, replaced, etc. The service writer curtly informed me that there no technicians on duty until 8am. Um, why open at 7?
