Editing my previously empty review text at request of the business. I'm not angry, these are just the facts of what happened and why I left 1 star. The young employees staffed during my last visit were mostly great (polite and helpful) until I went to pay with another young employee - tall, thin, furrowed brows. She arrived at the registers to backup cashier in a bad mood. She was huffy, rude, insisted I change my purchase because a completely different product I didn't want (more expensive and also, I'd politely declined twice prior). I politely declined a third time (even after humoring her to walk over and view the product) and finally, paid for my animal's food. Due to other employees wanting to greet my animal it was really difficult when instead of just offering to take my card (as my arms were full with a jumping dog greeting employees) the cashier told me "the swiper is down, you have to manually enter it." She crossed her arms as I struggled to do this as a line continued to build behind me in this tiny location. Once the receipt printed, she shoved it at me and sneered a sarcastic "thanks". She probably had a bad day and a chip on her shoulder. I don't know, but I get it - it just remains that the experience was a complete bummer. It added another poor experience (it reminded me of feeling completely unwelcome at this same location years prior) patronizing this business. Folding in the often incredibly overpriced nature of Chuck and Don's products into this all, I just have no interest in trying again. I'll instead drive out to the farm supply store where they don't treat me like a burden for supporting their business.

I find myself at this location all the time and it's just the best! They always have what I need and the staff are super helpful and friendly. 10/10 would recommend
