We visited here on a Sunday afternoon. The fee was about $4 per person if memory serves correctly. They operate HO scale trains on a very large layout. There were always at least two trains running and sometimes more. I was particularly interested in how they stage trains under the layout and then bring them up on a multiple track helix. There is a small Brio table for younger children. They also have a small shop with books, trains, and accessories for sale. We definitely enjoyed our visit.

Yes! Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 from September through April.
yes. they would appreciate them. it is a great bunch of people who appreciate contributoons like that. thank you.
Thank you for your question. The Hennepin Overland accepts donations and would be interested if you would like to donate it. We are currently closed to the public but will be open again the 1st weekend of September. Thanks for thinking of us!
Thanks for your question. The layout is open Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 - 4:00 PM between September and April, and is closed to the public during the summer. We'd love to be open more often, but would need more volunteers to facilitate it. We hope to see you in September when our fall season starts back up again!
I also have a B & W photo of the B & O station in Baltimore. The Camden Yards building is in the background. I used this for a food show, as we used a railroad theme for out display. I airbrushed an F diesel with company colors and we used big squash as tunnels. Anyhow, the photo, which the company bought from the B & O museum is pre-war I believe and has a nice railroad look to it. We used this as the view out the window of the station. The actual station may now be a Babe Ruth museum (?)
