My husband and I recently had the fortunate experience of working with Tim Wilson at Carter Cabinet Shop for a "once in a lifetime" kitchen remodel. He reached out to us, listened to our design ideas, and patiently guided us through the entire process adding his wisdom and advice from his many years of experience in the business. While a good design and quality cabinetry is essential, proper installation will determine the excellence of the final outcome. We could not have been happier with our installers. Their expertise and attention to detail was impressive throughout every aspect of the install. They were meticulous with the intricate cuts necessary to install crown for the beautifully designed vent hood cabinet as well as around the perimeter of the kitchen and dining area. They were a joy to have in our home and we want to give a big shout out to George, Brian, Tom, and to the lead designer, Tim Wilson, who all worked so hard to make our kitchen design a reality.

Our initial visit to Carter's went very well. I met my husband there after work and we had an appointment with Mr. Ayers. He showed us everything we needed in order to renovate our existing kitchen. We had a few items picked out such as cabinet style and color as well as counter top options. We then had Mr. Ayers out to our house to get measurements and to also get an idea of the layout. Within 3-4 weeks we received the first few drawings. I did have to call Mr. Ayers twice in order to receive these drawings but I get it he's busy and these things take time. I then responded letting him know we wanted to stay with our original foot print and I sent him the color of cabinets and countertop we wanted. He never responded to the email. I then called and left him several messages with no response. We ended up going with a different cabinet making company. The store is beautiful and I'm sure the product is too but the service in my opinion was horrible. For a family owned business no matter the job big or small all customers deserve the same amount of attention.
