I've been meaning to post this. On May 4th my dog died. In my panic of finding her and not knowing what to do I called 911...*don't laugh and dont judge....I needed help.* to ask if they know what I'm supposed to do/who I could call/if we had a non-emergency line. The young lady referred me to an animal hospital and asked if I needed any emergency services which I did not. I thanked her for her patience and understanding and hung up. Not less than 5 minutes later a Newnan officer knocked on the door. I explained that I had called but didn't need any emergency help. He stood there and listened to me crying and bawling about my dead dog ya'll and asked how he could help and if I was ok. I didn't get his name or badge number but sir your kindness meant the world to me in that moment. Thank you.

Awesome Police Department in the City of Newnan, Georgia in Coweta County. There is plenty of free and handicap parking. The Police Station is in excellent shape and the Station is very well maintained and clean. The Officers of the Newnan are very respectful and reasonable women and men. I support our local police force as they fight the good fight against crime. I believe in what the Newnan Police are trying to achieve with their policies and plans to stop crime dead in it's every expanding path. I have been a victim of crime and I have been helped greatly by the Newnan Police Department.
