Dr Herndon was compassionate and understanding of my concerns. He wasn't quick to push surgery but helpful in seeking alternatives to assist with my back pain.

I had been ill for 2 weeks and hurt, and felt weak and could barely make it from my car to the office door using my walker. Every person in that office was wonderful. It was such a. touching experience. One of the MAs walked out to my care and help me get my walker in the trunk. I’m only sorry I didn’t get everyone’s name. She also determined why I was having problems with my walker. Of course I can’t forget Dr. Herdon trying to get my specimen container open when I couldn’t and gave us a good chuckle. Thank you to everyone. Also I very much appreciate Dr. Herndon I’m assistant for give me Athena Care for me to contact and I already have an appointment. It was a big worry hanging over my head. Thank you all so much. Sue Yacko 🤗

I love Dr. Herndon. I had four medical professionals (in different fields) mostly dismiss my pain and issues because tests seemed “normal”, and within 10 minutes of meeting Dr. Herndon… he knew something was not right with subtle things (my hand temperature and so forth). He’s kind, confident, knowledgeable and I HIGHLY recommend!!

I met him once and had the same thoughts

Do you need a PCP referral to make an appointment? What insurances do they take?

Hi Brandi! Thank you for the question. You need a referral from another provider, it doesn't necessarily have to be your PCP. For example a referral from a neurosurgeon, orthopedist, urgent care, etc will suffice. We just need a referral from an outside provider such as an MD, DO, NP or PA. If they have any issues with sending the referral have them contact us and we will help make it an easy process for all.
