Beutiful beach to bad no one is really allowed on it. You better be a resident and have a town sticker or the " beach police will get you" as with most of long isand they dont really seem to want beach tourism but have no problem taking federal funds and help from corps of engineering....

Excellent beach to go in the company of your loved ones to share a day at the beach. The water is super transparent and perfect.

Nice place during high tide. Careful with all the rocks on the beach. Worth only if you don't have to pay to go in, so residents only really. $35 to spend the day on a rocky shore, quiet though, and sparsely populated. Better beaches are literally a stones throw away, and only 5 dollar parking. Even for out of towners.

Yes. From May 1st-Oct 1st they're required to be leashed between 9am and 6pm.
