Mr Smalls
While the staff are very respectful and helpful. Judge. Courtney Johnson is the worse. She is the prime reason why men find it easy to walk away from being a dad. She actually punished me for getting custody of my kids after their mom abandoned them. I normally don’t disrespect any judge but she has to be the worse judge in Dekalb County history. I advised the judge that her ruling would effect my 13/14 year old children she ignored that provided facts to to what I was saying. I can’t wait to her election is up I will not sleep to help getting her unelected. While I understand a judge ruling will always make someone unhappy. But Judge Johnson is rouge she ignored the Courts DRC department and any facts. If you have judge Johnson get a lawyer don’t go in her court room alone she’s bias.

I had an amazing experience renewing my passport today. I called the office to inquire about scheduling an appointment and the person that answered cordially provided the hours of operation and told me that I didn't need an appointment. I arrived and had no problem parking. Once inside a young lady greeted me and informed me of what was required and invited me to sit at one of the tables. She asked me if I had paperwork and when I responded no, she produced the application and stood nearby to answer my questions and assist with completion. When she saw that I was finished, she asked me to come over for the photo. After taking the photo, she actually asked if I approved. Wow...she was going to do a retake. I admit it could have been a better photo, but I was caught up with the amazing experience and declined. I made it to the window and completed the process. The clerk was very nice. I arrived and parked at 1104am and was back in my car at 1148p. Thank you for a phenomenal experience DeKalb County!!

Staff is all friendly and helpful. I went in person to file documents, but they had my file online on a computer there. You can save yourself a trip and file from home. Great and hassle free experience!

I am speechless. People who work there have a government job and treat you like a real human being. I was surprised to receive such amazing service at this location. I had to apply for my passport and was in an out in less than 10 mins. Amazing teamwork and staff. If I could tip you I would. You are the best. Please keep it up.

I am sorry I can't answer this question. I am not sure.
Adoptions are sealed. If you need anything from the closed and sealed file, you must petition the Court to have the file unsealed. There needs to be a Court Order signed by the Judge.
I would think your mortgage holder should send you the deed as they hold it as collateral. I would think that's how it works but might want to call your mortgage holder for clarification.
With your lawyer you can do so
There is still funding out there to help you. I'm not sure what they're paying. The Health Department, reached out to me for assistance when I contracted Covid for assistance. Thank God, I didn't need anything. Give them a call and maybe they can refer you to another agency. Good luck!
