I would love to leave a better review for this place, but I can’t currently. I was told if my score was over 400 then I would receive a call that day. The call didn’t happen. I waited most of the next day, and called multiple times, requesting the physician to call me back. That never happened either. This is the third day, and I still haven’t spoken to the physician. Based on the receptionist recommendation, I have made an appointment with a cardiologist. I’m still expecting a call though, just so someone can explain the scores to me in greater detail, but that probably won’t happen either. Needless to say, guess the free scan customers aren’t as important as the paying ones.

My husband and I bought the full body scan package and it has been invaluable. It actually saved my husbands life. In fact, our doctors accept the results of these scans to help them with our healthcare. I have just had my third scan since 2019, my husband has had one and is getting ready to schedule a second. A few things turned up in the scans that we shared with our doctors which would not have shown up with normal annual physicals or even specialist visits since there were no outward signs of any concerns. Expensive? Yes, sort of, basically, you are paying for the full cost instead of an insurance company. This is not for people with already diagnosed problems. But if you are over 50 and healthy, it doesn't hurt to monitor what is going on inside of you, especially if you have a genetic history of health issues (cancer, heart disease). And note, the whole process, in and out, takes 15 minutes. The longest time was sitting on I285.

Virtual Imaging is different then going to a hospital. You go to a hospital after you have signs and symptoms to treat something that is wrong. Virtual imaging is all about proactive, preventative screaming so you can help your doctor prevent your heart attack and catch Cancer in its earliest stage giving you the best odds of treating Cancer and surviving. Anyone that has gone to Virtual Imaging is offered the same thing. Unfortunately some people listen but don’t hear the message. Your life is about your decisions. Only you can control your health. Do not rely on the Government or your insurance to do it. It’s not designed for prevention. It’s designed to treat God forbid something terrible happens. Unfortunately the general public is ignorant of this. Don’t let haters prevent you from saving your own life. You don’t have to look beyond Twitter to realize you can’t make 100% of people 100% happy all the time!!!

Virtual Imaging’s services are Preventative scans looking for asymptomatic signs of heart disease and many cancers. It is unfortunate but Insurance companies do not cover preventative scans anywhere. Fortunately, Virtual Imaging offers innovative programs to make these life saving scans very affordable for almost all.

how much is the scan please?

Unfortunately what’s considered to be “Preventative scans” are not covered by most insurance companies. The exception is those mandated by legislation. (Virtual Colonography). However Virtual Imaging offers programs that are frequently less cost than most insurance deductibles without the insurance hassles. Call them at 770-730-0119 for a complimentary heart scan if you meet some minimal requirements.

Virtual Imaging, Inc | Oct 31, 2019

Virtual Imaging offers the Electron Beam CT Scan for, among other scans, a virtual, non invasive , colonoscopy without the use of the physically invasive camera. It is an extremely low dose, highly accurate scan without the anxiety or anesthesia of the old fashioned manual scan. Special programs make all scans very affordable. Call to see if you qualify.

Do they do a full body "brains to drains? If so,how much.

They scan from the top of the shoulders through the pelvis. The EBCT scanner does not penetrate the skull bone and therefore they do not scan the head. Scans for over 40 different cancers and diseases as small as 2 mm.

Dies Medicare pay for that?
