The tour experience was great. If you can make my father excited, then you're good at what you do. Sunrise seems like a very nice place to live. The facility was clean and bright. The staff was warm and friendly. From the dinner that we enjoyed, to the resident pooch, the experience was a very good one. My normally resistant father left the tour in a great mood. Now, that's something to talk about.

When my mother could no longer take care of herself the staff threw her clothes anywhere. Her room was messy and not cared for. Things were taken from her room after she died. Some of the staff cared and tried to help her, but I would not recommend this facility during Covid.

Unfortunately I was not impressed with management. My father only stayed a month, he passed June 1, 2021. During that first month I was there with him daily, I made sure he was being cared for. My plan was that he would continue to recover from hip surgery with some assistance then bring him home. He had a rapid decline and was put in incitement care. This is a daily charge and in my 6-8 hour days no one checked his diapers and often supplies were not there (even though I had paid for them) so I supplied wipes, diapers, and creams.
