I work at the DMV in Jackson. You can go to the nearest DMV in your area to get a $12.00 I.D.
Depends on where you live. Go to Tn.gov and search DMV locations, go to the nearest one.
They are never closed, lane closures yes. Traffic backed up for miles, yes. But never completely closed. Not both at one time for sure. If the 45/I40 bridge and ramp redo is what you are referring to, the Jackson sun website and TN.gov list the lane closing 24 hrs in advance. Just have to check prior to a trip to that area.
We are off Monday for veterans day...may be a small crew there due to road conditions. ..not sure though
