Dropped a ring off for repair, never got a call that I was ready until the sales associate called me for an upcoming sale. When I got to the store, Robbie huffed and puffed about having to check out my piece and didn’t want to show me anything in the cases. When she finally acknowledged me staring at something (there were two associates in the store and no guests) she didn’t tell me anything about the piece and assumed I was just looking. I would’ve bought the earrings as they match my engagement ring perfectly, but I don’t want to be ignored. I refuse to buy from a store that won’t even acknowledge me. Terrible terrible terrible customer service!!!

We’ve been Kay’s customers for close to 20 years. My fiancé purchased my enhancer ring for our wedding and we dropped it off to be put together with my engagement ring 4 weeks prior to our wedding date. It was ready in 2 weeks which was great, but when we arrived to pick it up I noticed it was crooked, the diamond did not line up with the new enhancer. So they put a rush order to have it sent back in and fixed. So the second time we came to pick up the ring yet again there was an issue - nothing had even been done to it! Still crooked. They promised at that point that the ring would go out the same day and ready for pick up the next day. We called in that morning to see when the ring would be ready and they still did not even send it out! Not only that, the manager Katrina told us she never said that and continued to deny and speak over us. My fiancé said there’s clearly a disconnect and we will be heading up to the store to speak with someone - She told us if we come up there she’s CALLING SECURITY! From that point we came up to the store (obviously) and took our ring back from Kay’s. At this point the ring no longer looked the same and was not repairable as it had been altered too many times. We ended up trading it in somewhere else. Terrible customer service. Manager was a nasty lady. To top it off when we arrived to pick up our ring she wouldn’t even talk to us much less make eye contact! We had to stay on the phone with customer support just to be helped. If you’re on a deadline for your ring and you would to avoid your ring being mangled then just go somewhere else.
