It provides shelter but other than that I wouldn't want to go back some of those staff act like they on their high horse and then want to use my Mental Ilness against me asking me did I take my medicine just because I have Depression and Anxiety doesn't mean I don't know when someone someone treating me some type of way

The Salvation Army is probably a better fit for women with children than the single woman residents. Since being here I have been mentally tortured by people who seem to have a hidden agenda when it comes to me. I do not know them nor have I been comfortable enough to open up and tell my story. Your better off somewhere else. This is just my opinion.

This place is what yu make it .. if u don’t have no type of car or money u will starve if u don’t ask for noodles .. this place is horrible wake u up early for breakfast at 5:30 in the morning.. the staff is rude bullies sometimes!! U got curfew real early.. if you not from the area I advise you not to go there 696 Jackson ave.. the case manager take they time process information.. u not farmilia with the area don’t go there.. they will put u out by writing u up everything u do.. ms.Judy gives false information an no one is over ms Dorothy .. people that’s from out of town will get bullied an u will be hungry if u don’t eat breakfast .. the milk spoil sometimes.. I stayed there for a month ..finally made it out an got my place

Or she or he can take themselves. Go the front of building on Jackson Ave. And you can get a feel in a short amount of time, what wonderful things are being done within the walls of the salvation Army.

Call the salvation army and they can give dates and times they going to accept people for there angel tree program. I would also call Catholic charities and mifa and get there date's as well. So you can be one step ahead
