Brought my F250 in for a 6” lift and 38s. These guys are the real deal! Customer service from the father and son is like chatting with your boys. Not selling you anything just going through how to do things right and letting you make your own decisions. This is the go to spot for anything LIFTED IN NEW YORK!!! You got a loyal customer now.

I would highly recommend this shop to anyone that needs work done. I have never seen such honesty. They will not spend your money on things that are not needed. Rich Sr. & Jr. tell it like it is. I truly appreciated their help! I read a negative review and their response brought me to their shop.

I unconditionally recommend RMS. I was very intimidated when I went to their shop for the first time. Many auto specialty shops have an attitude and have no patience for dumb questions. When I entered the shop, I was greeted by Rich Jr. who gave me a huge smile, and I immediately felt comfortable. Rich Jr. easily spent 30 minutes talking me out of my dumb ideas and educating me. Although Rich Jr. talked me out of mis-spending a lot of money, he did not try to sell me anything. Rich Sr. then came out of the garage and I was again greeted with a big smile. I told him I came to spend a lot of money but his son talked me out of it. Rich Sr. then spent at least 15 more minutes teaching me about lifts. Again, he did not try to sell me anything. I then did a tremendous amount of research which confirmed everything I was told by RMS was true. I then returned to the shop approximately 2-3 months later and incredibly, Rich Sr. and Rich Jr. remembered me. I told them I wanted a full suspension lift, and left a deposit which was no where near the amount of money the shop laid out ordering parts. The shop is so popular I was placed on a waiting list. I had questions during the wait and could have easily picked up the phone and made a call. However, the shop is such an inviting place, and I stopped by at least four times just for an excuse to hang out. Each time we were happily greeted by Rich Sr. and Rich Jr. My lift questions were easily answered within a minute, but I would spend at least 20 minutes hanging out at the shop talking about anything you can imagine. If I could, I would spend all my free time hanging out at the shop. As far as the quality of their work, some shops will lift your truck with no concern regarding safety and ride quality. The average person is excited to see his/her truck lifted, and drives away happy. They eventually stop lying to him/herself and accepts that he/she paid a lot of money for a ride quality that is horrible and likely unsafe. RMS kept my truck longer than I wanted. I wanted it back ASAP! However, they did not tell me it was ready until it drove perfectly (the few extra days wait was worth it). In regards to price, RMS did not “nickel and dime” me. Some problems were discovered along the way (my truck is a 2012) and RMS fixed the problems for cost. They also did not upcharge me for the rims and tires I later ordered. Also, when I ordered an after-market bumper from Shrockworks, they installed it for less than they quoted me, and at a fraction of the cost of the bumper. I am in no way affiliated with RMS professionally or personally. If anyone wants more information regarding my experience, please ask RMS to give you my cell number. UPDATE: It has been five months since I posted my original review of the suspension lift RMS did on my 2012 Nissan Xterra Pro-4X. If you think I loved in then, I now love it 1,000 times more. Below are some photos of me having the time of my life at Rausch Creek in Pennsylvania. Update Part II: RMS is a family owned business. Once they work on your ride, you become a member of their family. My X was hit in the rear and declared a total loss by insurance. Not going to lie - I was distraught and almost in tears (ok - my eyes were mistly because it is allergey season). I called RMS to discuss my options. RMS did not recommend it, but said they would remove all of my lift and other aftermarket parts, and put in on another X for a ridicousy low price. I decided against it and I am going with another platform. I look forward to a continued relationship with RMS.

My experience with RMS Offroad goes back to 1988 and 1st generation owner. They did the first lift i ever had. RMS has always given me sound advice on every project ever since. Even times when i tackled things on my own, RMS would talk me through the process and assure me that i could do it myself. They take the time to explain what they are using, why they are using it, and how it works, so that each customer has a base of knowledge for how their project will perform. Getting older now, i put full trust into the 2nd generation of ownership and crew. Most recently, they did a 4 link lift on my superduty. When faced with a long weekend ahead, they stayed late to finish up. Their dedication to pleasing their customers is 2nd to none. 👍👍👍👍👍
