This is a beautiful newer hotel. We tried to grab a drink at the bar and a bite to eat but the bartender was serving as both the bartender and the chef so, after a fifteen minute wait, we ended up going elsewhere. We could've waited a little longer but there was an alarm going off in the lobby the entire time and it was grinding on us. Once they are properly staffed, I can see this location going to five stars.

We stayed here four very pleasant nights. In spite of some Covid limitations on the housekeeping and restaurant offerings, we really recommend this hotel! It’s a newer hotel and very quiet while we were there. Breakfast buffet has a $9 charge, but let me tell you, it was worth it after all the meager bagged hotel breakfasts we experienced during Covid. Large variety of pastries and bread, two kinds of yogurt, cooked oatmeal with lots of toppings including walnuts and chia seeds, juices, and four or five fresh fruit choices. Angie and Maria were friendly and helpful in getting the breakfast items we wanted. We also throughly enjoyed the service from Orlando and Will in the bar area over several nights. They too were very responsive and worked to get our cocktails just right. For a small bar, it was well stocked with assortment of beer, wine, and liquors. Besides the pool, there are two other outside seating areas. We enjoyed the breakfast patio and the fire pit lounge.

The hgi brand is all about friendly staff and that is well demonstrated here. The breakfast service crew are friendly and execute well. Room and lobby area clean. Hotel still feels new. Good wifi. My only ding is they could benefit from better shower heads as the water pressure on fourth floor was light (compounded by likely very soft water). Overall a quality place to park yourself when you are going to a baseball game or most likely you are visiting your parents.

Great new hotel in Surprise. Clean and beautiful facilities, decent rooms, excellent room service. Self laundry rooms with soap and dryer sheets available. Best part was fresh breakfast made to order. My hotel rate was including the breakfast and I was surprised by the food quality and the service. Quick and easy and you are on your way. Highly recommended if you are in Surprise Arizona!
