Great family fun! We went for the "Tales for Tails" event where kids read to the horses as part of the rehabilitation process. The people were so friendly and welcoming, and they were so pleased that we made the effort to help out. We also learned a lot about horse 'body language' and some valuable Do's and Dont's. We will definitely be back!!

I want say first and foremost.....I've never been here to my knowledge. I came across some information about accepting/rescuing over 50 neglected horses just recently. Wow that is an outstanding amount all at once!! Kudos to you that is absolutely amazing. The purpose for my post/ review it's just to get the word out donations are needed immediately! If my information is wrong about the amount of horses I apologize however donations are still needed no matter what.

How do I get an appointment with a trainer to be matched with a horse??

Just call their number and leave your info and they'll call you back to schedule a time to come out and talk with them. If you can go out on a Saturday or Sunday they have volunteers that'll take you around to show you horses that you might be interested in or are at your riding level. Then you can leave your information with the volunteer about the horses you're interested in and they'll have a trainer call you. We just adopted and our trainer was Cory and she was great to work with. They make sure you have a good fit before you adopt and give plenty of riding lessons before you adopt, so you'll be in good hands!
