I was looking for a Bernina Sewing Machine. I found one they had on display but they said they didn't have any in stock at the store. They called another store in Augusta, GA who said they had one and I agreed to wait a week for delivery to Atlanta Sewing Center. I paid for my machine. I called weekly asking about the delivery and kept being told the other store hasn't sent it to their store yet. After a month of calling weekly, they finally told me the machine was in but I had to wait a day or two for their technician to go over the machine to ensure it was working properly. Again, I agreed to the wait. When I finally picked up the machine I found that the machine was in a re-taped box. I also noticed that the machine that was previously on display was not there anymore. I specifically asked if the machine they were giving me was the display and they said no. I asked several times. My gut was telling me otherwise. I get the machine home and looked it over. Yes, the machine was very clean as if it was never used. However, I did find a few things on the machine that gave me cause to believe otherwise. I have purchased many new machines over the years but never saw what I was seeing on new machines. On the lid of the machine was an existing sticker that was highlighting some of the features the machine does. On the back of the machine, I found a red dot with a number on it (possibly an inventory number?) See pictures. I would suggest if you buy a machine from them, pull it out of the box and inspect it before leaving their store. THEY LIED TO ME. They sold me a used for display machine and didn't even give me a discount. WRONG WRONG WRONG.
