This is a quaint little campground. Five minutes from Great Wolf Lodge. This is the place that you would like to go to get away from everything for a weekend or however long. They staff was great. They were very helpful. There are onsite showers in two separate buildings open 24 hours. The lots are decent sized with tables, fire rings and hook ups. We didn't get a chance to visit the local state parks and lakes that were highly recommended. We will the next time we visit this campground. I think that anyone who visits this site would be satisfied. If you want quiet and want to lay back...you can do it here. If you want to use this as a base and go shop at the nearby outlet mall or do the other things already mentioned...you can do that as well. Enjoy

Promise land State Park and Tobyhanna State Park are about a 15 - 20 minute ride from the Campground. Both have lakes that would be great to kayak at.
Not sure about an enclosed porch, but I definitely saw sites with porches.
Not sure if they do that, I think Lowe's or Home Depot aren't that far away.
