I am from out of state, and I cannot express how kind and easy the sheriffs and staff were and made the process! I thought I had everything I needed, but was lacking in a few things, they helped me every step of the way in explaining clearly what I needed to do and where I needed to go. Melissa was an absolute angel! This is not just a 5 star rating worthy review..if I could give a 10, it'd be an 11!!

If I could give them a zero, I definitely would. The sheriffs working in this department are so unprofessional it’s totally ridiculous. I know they get busy and all but so does every other department. Professionalism should still be given and expected. In the midst of me trying to help others the woman working in CB answers and responds to questions extremely rude. The worst part is that she “bangs” on you before your done asking questions. No excuse is adequate enough, learn how to respectfully deal with the public in which you serve.

I went to the satellite office in east York for my carry permit. Sheriff Val assisted me and she was wonderful. So very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this location, much easier than the courthouse.
