Don't take a table in the back room on a busy night -- and watch out for poorly supervised, uneven waitstaff. We received no apology for delayed service and being overlooked by inattentive staff. A celebratory birthday dinner turned into a 2.5 hour ordeal of which most was waiting to order (then be served) a simple dessert to mark the occasion. This was once a favorite restaurant but has outlasted its reputation. We will not be returning.

Had dinner here last night after passing it all the time and it always being busy. It was a true Italian meal, so if you’re in a rush, don’t come here because they let you sit and be and enjoy as they do in Italy. Started with the eggplant parm which was delicious and asparagus which was good, but nothing crazy. I wanted carbonara for dinner but they were out of pancetta (sad) so I chose the green and white bolognese which was good and very authentic. They had a truffle pasta special, cacio e peppe like which was very light and delicate but great flavor. Also had tiramisu for dessert which was great. Overall great experience and I’ll return when I am in need of a good comfort meal.
