I ordered take out here and picked up, was really excited because I am argentinian myself and i often go to queens for authentic argentinian food.. but i live in brooklyn. I wanted to try this place out because it’s in my borough and has a nice ambience but I always felt it would probably not satisfy my taste buds because it’s probably overpriced and not as good. Should have stuck to my instincts. The choripan… it’s not Argentinian chorizo and if it is marketed to the restaurant as so, it’s a shame. It was SO bland… in Buenos Aires and even queens, you can just taste the difference in chorizo from Argentina compared to other countries. It usually has more of a flavorful garlic taste… this tasted like an american hot dog link.. the steak was a bit too fatty, but someone not juicy, no grill flavoring either? Not sure what that was about… ugh i wanted so bad to find an authentic place i could rely on in my borough. Queens is so out of the way but this experience lacked. The restaurant would do so well if they used the same suppliers as their competitors from queens.
