From Kelly at the front desk, to assistant Rebecca and the x-ray technician, I was treated very well. Dr. Koenig had looked at my MRI's and X-rays, and even though I have knee pain, he said I was not a candidate for knee replacement surgery. He believes it is coming from my back. I can believe this because it started after I hurt my back years ago. Dr. Koenig was highly recommended to me by another NYU Langone employee.

Abandon all hope, all ye who visit Dr Koenig. Touched my problem area for about two seconds and then proceeded to tell me that I did not have pain, there was absolutely nothing wrong and nothing to do. A doctor should ALWAYS have a possible next step. If they don’t, they need more education or to retire. My pain is in my head according to him. I’m imagining things. You can literally SEE something popping out of my knee. He wouldn’t even take a glance! He didn’t ask any questions. He didn’t ask about any injuries. Interrupted me every time I tried to talk. He didn’t DO anything except be very condescending, rude and abrasive. It’s time for you to stop practicing old man. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
