This place is ridiculously slow. I think there are not enough doctors and nurses to handle all of the appointments that they scheduled. I will have to find a new doctor. I can no longer wait for an hour for a regular eye exam.

I have been going there for over 20 years, things have chance for the worst. I had to wait 1.5 hours after the agreed time for the doctor to finally see me. His assistant attempted to check my eye pressure which I refused, I demand it would be done by the doctor. He was in a rush, he tried several lenses, asking what felt better, but all of the options were far off from an ideal one. This was a waste of my time, money and insurance. The person that finally gives the prescriptions, has a major attitude, like she is doing us patients a favor, in fact she has a job because of us. I"m not using the prescription, I don't feel it's correct

Total waste of time, unprofessional Optician, and no records shared after the tests/visit are done. I will never visit this again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Location visited: 203 Palisade ave, Jersey City Response to the 'Response from the owner': The front desk people are very lazy and irresponsible, they directly told me that they don't have my appointment without properly checking the system. The doctor seemed in a hurry(not sure if he had any other work during my appointment time). I expected the doctor service to be done patiently and provide the suggestions to us on the eye issues we say. The front desk guidance is NULL(0), they are just clearing their Q by saying 'go to the next door and wait' and we had to go to the next door and wait without knowing why!!!?, The optician replied 'I DON'T KNOW' for my question 'How much will the insurance cover for both the options 1.contact lens and 2. eyeglasses.' and she was like going here and there when I was talking to her. And regarding the patient portal, I called and checked for that and the reply was ' They don't have any such portal for the patients and they don't even email the reports, they only fax or we need to personally visit them again and provide the details to get the reports'

I don't know how old he is because I don't base on age I base on professionalism and knowledge. All I know everyone in palisade eye are very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. That's what counts!!
