If you are looking for a special, creative venue for your event I can highly recommend the Leapin Lizard. There is a variety of artwork everywhere you look from paintings to sculptures. Richard goes above and beyond to help. My daughter chose this venue for her wedding and it could not have been better. Very affordable and available for a variety of events.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here, Richard was the most accommodating, easy to work with person I’ve ever dealt with. He is kind, responsive, and professional. The space is funky but functional, eclectic and beautiful. It’s in the perfect location to “keep the party going” even after the event has ended. All of our guests were raving not only about the space but how awesome the owner (Richard) and the bartenders were! I would HIGHLY recommend using this space for any event!

We had the most magical wedding day yesterday at Leapin Lizard! Richard was incredibly helpful in the planning process, answering all of our questions along the way. Becca and Sam managed the day, and they were phenomenal. They were kind and attentive, and they went above and beyond- helping to set up and clean up the day, provide top-notch bar tending, and even offered to open up the building the day before so we could drop off decorations. And the space itself is unbeatable. We were able to have the whole wedding day here (getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance party) at an affordable price. Leapin Lizard is the epitome of the character that Covington has to offer- beautiful, full of color and fun, traditional with a twist, and a place with amazingly kind humans.
