Delicious pierogi, good drink selection, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Visiting the area and didn't want to go driving around or calling everywhere trying to find a place with vegan options. Lo and behold Pierogi Mountain popped up in Grubhub's search. Although my expectations were low because I've experienced my share of craptastic vegan attempts more than once. But the selections - more than just an Impossible or Beyond burger - were intriguing so I rolled the dice and ordered three things from the menu. First on my order, their vegan sausage - if they really do make their own - is top of the line. I really planned to just eat half, but couldn't resist. Top of the line absolutely. Second were the potato, sauerkraut, mushroom pierogi. A bit on the small side, but packed with flavor. And topped with caramelized onions, worth every penny. A side note: I'm from Pittsburgh where we take our pierogi seriously. These would more than stand out in my town. Last was the vegan mac and cheese. Honestly, I'd already had my fill between the pierogi and sausage. But wanted to at least sample their take on this classic before it needed to be reheated. Opened the container - topping the pasta were little chunks of possibly more sausage and diced tomatoes. Yeah, I had a couple of forks full. Instead of elbow mac, they use penne pasta giving the dish a bit more of a grown-up feel. And the flavors were spot on. I may just place a duplicate order before I leave to take home. Well done, Pierogi Mountain!

The food was tasty, and pretty much everything on the menu was reasonably priced. Our server was great too.

I did in fact love it. Great food nice people. I plan on going back whenever possible. I guess the best way to describe it is comfortable. Also excellent vegan selection. I myself am not a vegan but even as a meat loving heathen I enjoyed the vegan options.

It cant be any better!
Pierogi Mountain does takeout like Debbie Does Dallas 🏈🏈🏈 So are you gonna get some or what?
You definitely do not need a reservation to eat here Very casual. If you have a big party, I would suggest calling ahead. Enjoy your visit. Try the poutine!
They have social distancing between the tables and barriers between each. They require masks when you are not in your seats. They are also cleaning touch surfaces regularly. Beyond that, I couldn't see from the door area where I picked up my to go food.
Yes! We serve it over egg dumplings or if you're feeling adventurous we offer Hungarian Poutine; Chicken Paprikash over french fries, topped with cheddar cheese!
Its a dive bar, not a family restaurant. Kids would be fine in the building but watch out for concerts/performances/burlesque etc.
