We recently had our wedding at this hotel. The ceremony was at the gazebo and the wedding in the Jr Ball Room. Lia, the wedding coordinator is AMAZING! She was organized and on top of everything during the entire planning process months before the wedding. We had 19 in the bridal party and she made sure everyone was where they should be and on time. The room was decorated beautifully. Many of our guests spent the weekend and the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly (wish i got her name, but pretty girl, with long dark hair :). I'm sad to say I came to a wedding here, first we had at least 20 pieces of luggage since we had joining rooms and no cart The banquet gentleman let us use the banquet cart. We were overrun with carpenter ants. Even on the bed sheets. Stay was 3 days, overpriced awful service! Tried to order room service couldn't get to them so they came to the door and knocked, we ordered, then she took our order and disappeared We got a phone call 15 minutes later saying room service is closed And we couldn't receive our breakfast. The bartender was the rudest human on the face of the Earth, The woman they hired for the wedding. The wedding planner was delightful The banquet people were really nice. Having to pay for breakfast on top of the overpriced room and the service, coming back here would be a big fat no.

This hotel is not up to the Hilton/Doubletree standards. The handicap bathroom flooded, had to ask housekeeping for lots of towels. The wheelchair lift was broken so we couldn't get to the lobby/ restaurant without going outside and around the parking lot. No housekeeping unless you specifically request them to clean the room. The hotel is old and out dated and needs an update. I could go on but, you get the picture. Very disappointed.

First thing: the staff is excellent. They did a great job with every interaction. However, the hotel is poorly managed. There are only two luggage carts. They were completely out of shampoo - and I was told by one staffer that has been true for a month. This seems like something that could be mentioned to guests so that we can pack that along with our personal items. The rooms, well, they are about equal to an average roadside motel. Really, this hotel has no business being listed as a "three star" hotel. It's a "two star" hotel. Adjust your expectations.
