Dr. Faucher and the team did an incredible job! The entire process was basically painless and I’m very pleased with the result - even 1 day post op. Highly recommend!

This place is horrible. I’m sure most of these reviews got to be fake. Inexperience doctors who will make you look worst than before surgery. They over harvested my head. Now I look crazy front and back. Please avoid this place

From the first minute I walked in the door I was greeted by such a professional staff, Sidney was terrific in guiding me into what I needed to do then I met with Jen and she made it very easy to have the procedure. then Dr. Faucher who was FANTASTIC he explained everything to me, he even told me less was more and did not over harvest me and made me very comfortable. now on the day of the procedure the surgical team was fantastic. I virtually had no pain what so ever and they made me super comfortable and the procedure was everything they said it would be. I had no swelling or discomfort after my surgery and the follow up visits. I cant say enough about the doctor and the entire staff here at the New York office.

After shopping around I chose Ziering Medical because of how personal they made my experience. All the staff at the NYC office was amazing and made me feel comfortable. I look forward to seeing my results in the future and highly recommend them.

This is a common fear for most patients and while the hair transplant procedure itself is not painful due to the anesthesia, the areas of the scalp that have been treated are likely to be tender after the procedure. Most patients describe the first couple of injections of anesthesia to be the most uncomfortable. Staying on top of pain control and making the process as painless as possible is a priority for every Ziering Medical Surgeon. Visit our website to know more.
No. At Ziering Medical, we have a highly qualified RN/PA/MD who administers your anesthesia very slowly to provide optimal comfort for your personal needs. Hair length entering a FUT procedure should be sufficiently long in the donor area to allow hair from above the donor incision to drape down and cover the sutured area upon completion of the transplant. However, with FUE hair transplant surgery shorter cuts are allowed provided the patient is not concerned about the exposed donor zone on display. As part of the FUE donor prep, the back and sides of the head are clipped to a zero, the same as a clipper with no guard. For most patients who opt for FUE surgery, the donor zone grows back rather quickly with little evidence of the surgery has taken place after 7 days
With FUE hair transplant procedures, the entire back and sides of the head [the donor zone] must be shaved down. This is one of the reasons that most female patients prefer FUT or strip harvest hair transplant procedures in which the donor strip, which is approximately 1.2 cm or less than ½ inch, is shaved short and an elliptical strip of hair donor tissue is removed. After the surgery, the entire donor zone is camouflaged by combing the hair above down over the donor site, completely covering the sutured area.

Not everyone with hair loss is a good candidate for Follicular Unit Excision and Extraction (FUE). A thorough examination to analyze the type and degree of hair loss needs to be completed by our physicians. Because FUE requires that a patient shaves the entire back of the head, it is a much more popular choice for men than women. Visit our website to schedule a consultation with our specialist.
Determining the cost of a hair transplant procedure is a supply and demand calculation. It starts with knowing the amount of hair loss [demand for coverage] you already have. Next, your donor hair [supply] has to be assessed. The amount of quality donor hair that can be safely harvested along with the size or amount of thinning areas to be treated establishes the surgery session size and the actual price range. Most hair restoration practices charge an average price per graft for the harvested follicular units. That average price per graft is also impacted by the type of procedure you choose, whether it is MDEE (formerly known as FUT Strip Surgery), Manual FUE, or Robotic FUE. All these factors are combined to determine the actual hair restoration cost.
This is typically one of the first questions that a prospective hair transplant patient asks. While the cost of an FUE Hair Transplant procedure varies from patient to patient, there are standard factors that affect the cost, starting with the actual number of follicular units which can be safely harvested from the back and sides of the head, the amount of hair loss you have or the size of the balding and thinning areas on the scalp, the viability and quality of the donor hair, and the number of hair transplant sessions needed to achieve the desired density.
