I'm sorry to say, but the grounds are not kept up properly lately, grass is brown and crunchy, obvious signs that it has NOT been watered, the grass around headstones is ridiculously high and there's no reason for that! I have to bring my own grass clippers and/ or weedwacker to trim the high grass around the stones. That should not have to be done by any family member visiting their loved one grave. For a military cemetery, it's very shameful to see.

My wife was laid to rest there. Everything about Calverton VA Cemetery is outstanding. Everyone on staff is always helpful, courteous & very respectful. The grounds are beautiful & well kept. So peaceful. Thank you Calverton. 🇺🇸
