The Prop Shop

We require masks of all customers, staff, and volunteers. We regularly clean high touch areas and have hand sanitizer available at all entrances. We remind everyone about keeping 6 foot distance and ask that anyone who is sick stay home. We also have a no-contact drop-off for donations set up Tuesdays-Saturdays 10am-3pm where donors may pull in and staff/volunteers will unload the vehicle. Unfortunately, we're not able to accept magazines as donations due to the volume they would involve. I was able to find some recommendations about trying at local libraries, nursing homes, FreeCycle. Thank you for thinking of us!

We do take soap and toothpaste. PROP Food Shelf, a separate organization, is the primary place to take toiletries, but we also accept them and give them to local families in need. Thank you!

Elena, yes, we do. Maternity clothes go into our Family Services area which serves local families in need with free clothing, household goods, and furniture. Thank you so much! We give tents to local families in need through our Family Services program. Tents are usually requested due to a family experiencing homelessness, but the Minneaoplis Sanctuary Movement may have more immediate needs if you have several to donate. We don't take hard-wired light fixtures, so outside fixtures are unlikely to meet that criteria. If they work and can be plugged into an electrical outlet, yes. Otherwise, your best bet is likely to be Habitat for Humanity ReStore. They can be reached at 612-588-3820.
