I am a member of U1... I called to get a 10-day payoff quote for Carvana and spoke with Melodie. I called twice and both times she seemed annoyed to help me. She also refused to send me a 10-day payoff or let me pay my car loan off over the phone (she said there was a $5k limit per day). She said that I would need to go to a branch in person... I even reminded her that we are in the middle of a pandemic and she said there is just no way to send information like that through email. It's 2020 and U1 and their representatives still seem baffled by the concept of online banking for payoffs and quotes... Or Melodie was just having a bad day.
