I enjoyed my experience here. Place was easy to find and had adequate parking for the amount of people that were there. However, if they were packed I could see parking being an issue. The restaurant itself is pretty cool. It has great space, great layout and great decor. They also have a pretty cool outdoor eating area that looked nice, but we opted to inside for the AC. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was good, was nice and crispy on the outside but still pretty moist inside. The fries were good, but I could have done without the seasoning. But then again, I don't like fries with much salt, so others will probably like more. My gf got the same thing, and she enjoyed hers too. My buddy got the wings. He said they were just ok, but didn't think they were worth the price. My only real issue was the menu, both the physical menu you look at to order and then the selections of food and beverages they offer. The physical menu didn't have any prices listed on their beer menu, which was weird. Then on the food menu, most had prices, but some didn't. Like it was a flaw when printing the menus. For example, the fish and chips I ordered was the only entree without a price listed. It ended up being one of the cheaper items, so I was actually a little relieved when I asked our waitress. The menu items they offer don't really speak to me, but that's just me and my personal opinion. I actually had fish yesterday, but the fish and chips was really the only thing that looked appealing in the entree section...at least for the price. The prices on the menu are pretty steep for an average Joe like me. But I haven't had anything else there so I can't say if the price is justified. I'm ok with paying more if the food is on point. But saying all that, I still enjoyed this place and would return. The food and beer I had were all good and it seems like a fun place to go with a group of friends.

I feel Lock 15 is underrated. It is so nice inside and the food and beer are wonderful. It could just be me, but when I am thinking of places to go, Lock 15 is not on my radar. Well, that is about to change! I visited for lunch and was very impressed. The inside is clean and welcoming. I LOVE the open kitchen, I think that adds so much to a restaurant. The beer menu is vast and has something for everyone. Not into beer, they have plenty more for everyone. The food menu is more of the same, something for everyone. While looking over the options, I saw so much I wanted to try. I was torn between to items and asked the server for advice. Without hesitation, she said the Nashville Chicken was awesome...and it was! Lock 15 will be on my go to list in the future and I am excited to explore more of the menu.

Tried a new place in Akron. @lock15brewing love the reclamation of old buildings. Located at the Former Swinehart Tire Factory on the corner of North St. and Howard St. Luckily I made reservations as the line was out the door at 5:30 on Saturday. We had the Burrata appetizer with toast points. Also Fish and chips - huge portion. I had the Lobster roll. Nice size portion of claw meat. Finished with a creme brûlée. I was there with friends but this place would be a great date night also.

Can't comment on beer, since I didn't drink any. But food was fabulous. Server Riley was amazing as well. Hot tots- ABSOLUTEL MUST HAVE. Potatoes, cheese, bacon, absolute perfection. Got a watermelon salad for my side. Amazing colors, and blend of flavors and crunch and all around very happy. Chicken and waffles... that waffle. Sweet and crunchy and delicious. Chicken was gorgeous meeting of spicy and tart. All over mac and cheese which kinda was just there. But 12/10 would come again.

Park towards the back of the building, as the entrance is actually back there, almost like a basement. Additionally, the parking lot you first see from the street (when travelling to the brewery), is for residents of the lofts/apartments. Parking can be tricky, but the beer and food are well worth it.
Lock 15 will be opening winter/spring 2018
