The Jitney is a shocking combination of incompetence and hostile customer service. My bus was over thirty minutes late. When I called to inquire about where the bus was the operator acted like I was the one inconveniencing her. When two other buses arrived I was rudely told that the buses weren’t going to my stop and I would just have to wait. After an hour, I got a cab to my destination. If I knew beforehand how bad the Jitney is, I would have taken the train. The Jitney is the worst bus service I have ever experienced in my life. They fail at even providing transportation and treat you terribly while you wait for buses that never come.

Not even deserve 1 star. Bus was late for more than one hour. They claimed and used the phrase of running late (This is not running late, you guys just mixed up the 6:25 PM with 7:25 PM.) After calling them and asking for explanation, the representative hang up the phone. So unprofessional.

The worst experience… the bus driver drove right by the designated stop even though we were right there waiting. We were moved to a later bus because the driver refused to go back for us. That bus was 40 minutes late. All in all we waited over 2 hours because this company is so incompetent. An employee I was on the phone with didn’t even know the difference between the Montauk line and the North Fork line. Absolutely ridiculous
