MY ORDER: Beef stew which comes with two sides. My side choices were Chapati and Pilau. I also added an order of Sausages and Sukuma. PROS: The food is delicious! The atmosphere inside has a cool vibe. Not too loud at least around dinner time on a Monday. Waitresses were pleasant and took care of matters promptly. CONS: The portions run a bit small for the entree sides. As a rice lover, I was sad when my rice dish ended after roughly seven bites. Major complaint is when I informed the staff that they forgot to put my order of sausages. One of the waitresses escorted me to my car to confirm that it was indeed left out. Which it was! She was apologetic but that was not a pleasant interaction. (Picture has one less sausage as I had an hour drive to return home.) COST: Just shy of $50

Visiting my sister in MD , who absolutely love the place and wanted me to try it. I wasn’t disappointed the food was good the staff was friendly and the Friday night atmosphere was energetic felt like I was in an African movie. I had fried goat with spinach yum!. My sister had fish which looked and tasted really good also. A must visit for a different dining experience if your ever in Maryland.

The food was absolutely delicious, but more than food was the amazing service. Alex and Jerry were the sweetest people and they made the experience soooo amazing. I’d come back to restaurant just to see them again. Excellent service and excellent people. I’d happily come back any day!

When I say the food was delicious I mean it. The portions were heavy. I ordered two sides of plantains because I thought they would short me but nope the plate came and I was pleasantly surprised. I mean just look at the photos. Honestly I wish I could go back. Our server was also very kind and provided top notch service. I still remember how the food tastes and it’s been a month since I tried it. Everyone in the family enjoyed the food!!! 10/10 recommendation!
