I'm a pharmacist. I got an antibiotic prescription around 3 PM yesterday, that is written incorrectly, so I need to speak to the prescriber. The electronic prescription says it's from Poughkeepsie. Called about 8 times, because the machine just hangs up after you are on hold for about 10 minutes, says "Announcement: no one is available to take a call. Good bye." Sent electronic prescription request with direction of "PLEASE CALL THE PHARMACY" as well as faxed. Called after 5 PM to see if it worked; spoke with an on-call person that will relay the message for the morning tomorrow. Well, today is tomorrow; no one called me back. Poughkeepsie finally answers after 2 attempts, says the doctor is in Peekskill, so the electronic prescription had wrong info. I finally speak to Peekskill after 4 attempts, tells me this doctor is from this urgent care instead. I'm calling the urgent for the 6th time now, and I'm still getting "Announcement: no one is available to take a call. Good bye". Meanwhile, this patient hasn't gotten the antibiotic yet that he should've started yesterday. I'm going to tell the patient to stop by the urgent care to instruct someone to call me now. I still don't understand why I can't even leave a voice mail. This place (and all of Sun River Health) is obviously terribly run. Why would you go there? Are they the only game in town? P.S. I also called the main number and tried the billing department extension yesterday, when I couldn't reach the doctor for the 3rd time. Someone picks up just after 2 rings, of course...

I was seen yesterday in the urgent care. The provider advised me that she will send a medication to my pharmacy to help me with the symptoms... I went by yesterday late afternoon to get an update on the medication status and was told the doctor is really behind and will send the order later on that night. No problem, the next day I called again asking what happened to my medication and was told my chart listed no medication. Asked to speak the doctor and was advised they don't know when she will be there. The provider who is covering today has no knowledge of the chart. Don't go here go somewhere else that really cares about you. They just so worried of getting paid

Worse Urgent Care in the area. I brought my son there on Thursday to be tested for Covid cause he had some symptoms. They refused to give him a Covid test claiming his symptoms were not signs of Covid which they clearly were. They tested him for streap throat only and told him his allergies and cold were the issue. Friday night my sons sore throat got worse so I went and bought an at home test, he tested positive for Covid. The young man who was assisting in his care there came out and clearly said they are chosen who and who not to test, which in my opinion is total unacceptable.

My neighbors keep having the same experience.... being treated poorly by their staff. I highly recommend the administrators review the poor reviews posted here then finally begin training on appropriate patent interaction. When one is battling an illness, the last thing expected is to be treated with rudeness. If you don't respect patients.. what is the point?
