Not a lot of good to say. From my own experience I do not recommend this place. I was in a room with another patient that hollered and screamed out throughout the day & night. She disrupted my rest, sleep and anxiety, but staff did not care! They even lost one of my prescription meds! I ask to be moved to another room many times, and was told they were looking into it. After 8 days I was never moved, even tho I say empty beds and staff told me they had empty beds. My room #112 was awful; unclean, ac coming apart with gunk stuck in the blower vent. This place caused my allergies to become worse. You don’t get a daily bath; I went 3-4 days without a bath. My bed, and visual on others, are worn out and smell awful ! I complained but nothing changed. After 8 days not once was my room ever disinfected; I had to do it myself. Not once was my room ever fully mopped! The food is absolutely gross! I lost weight from not being able to eat it! The TV and bed controls had food stuck on them. There was feces on our room toilet seat all day & was never cleaned; I had to clean it myself. A couple of times my tea had something at the bottom floating in it. A few times my food tray had something slimy on it. I even was served a fully cracked cup of tea! I know they are busy, but it normally takes a long time to get what I ask for. There were times I ask for water and never got it until late afternoon. They do have some nice, kind workers, but many are not, and will even sigh & roll their eyes when I ask for something. I do not understand why the govt does not regulate these places! I truly wish I had positive things to say but there are not any! I even had to literally go off on staff my first day there to get the help I needed. Use your own judgement and see the room they will put you in before actually going in! I have pictures; wish I could post them.

DO NOT, under any circumstances, let these people "care" for ANYONE you care about. Even people you _don't_ care about deserve better than this place. Nursing staff barely responds; will leave you sitting in feces if someone didn't keep calling on your behalf. A nurse from "wound care" basically accelerated wound deterioration with her bandaging. Physical therapy is mostly a joke. Housekeeping came with a broom and was in and out within 10 seconds (I am not exaggerating!); she did not remove any trash. The furniture is old and falling apart. There were ants (likely from housekeeping barely sweeping). It goes on... And I saw this personally for two other residents, not just my own family. I wish there were better things to say. Some of the staff I met are nice but there are too few of them to make up for the overall shoddy care.

The Nursing Staff at Jonesboro were wonderful during my stay. When I was admitted to the facility I was unable to walk, and eventually gained my strength back. The DON (Christina), Administrator (Marcus Oates), Rehab Staff, and The Unit Manager made sure we were taken good care of. I take my hat off to Jonesboro Nursing and Rehab. I’m walking now, and even took the time to drive back up to the nursing home to thank the staff. God Bless

Yes, because as the medical field continues to be short staffed the need for the medical field will have unfilled positions. Apply online but also make a personal visit to introduce and sell yourself at your choice facility.

Why would anyone in their right mind send a loved one there?

...for they not know what they do.
